Oregon Health Plan (OHP) is proposing to amend the Medicaid State Plan to add a 10% enhanced wage add-on for Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) providers, and nursing facilities whose base rate for caregivers is above $15.00/hour. Adult Foster Homes are currently excluded from this proposed amendment!

The State has set aside COVID relief money specifically designed to support home and community based care providers (like our homes) to pay higher starting wages.
Rather than including adult foster homes, the state has yet again left us behind and is instead prioritizing larger facilities.
The state must hear from us that this critical money should include homes like ours!
